That looks awesome. Not quite sure but technically, you might even be able to do that in After Effects or Fusion just by separating layers. It looks like it's position and scale animation. It might just be a simple 3D animation too. Hard to tell because it's done so well.

If your 3D track was solid, it wouldn’t be that bad. You can track the camera in After Effects, then export that to Blender, do the VFX, then render. Bring those elements back into After Effects (where you already have the 3D tracking data) and do the comping. A few more steps but it’s not too bad as long as you can get a good 3D track.

I might make a tutorial on that since I’ve done quite a few that don’t require a 3D track so maybe that’s the next step.

I just checked (on Windows). It's there. Click on the 3 lines next to CONSOLE (the menu will pop up) and switch over to DEBUG DATABASE VIEW. You should be able to follow the steps from there. Are you on Windows or Mac?

Do you know any other good option in console?

@@pdv i was having the same issue but as soon as i clicked on DEBUG DATABASE VIEW, the search bar popped up.. btw I'm using windows and premiere pro 2019.. TYSM for this video and specially this comment... now my premiere looks way attractive

When the console with empty white box opens, just press the 3 lines menu next to the name console and select debug view, and you'll get the menu. In windows. Works in 2024 versions too

While that's true that the audio is best closer to your face, I still think it's insane that people are holding these mics. They're really designed to be clipped on, like lav mics and holding it seems silly, just like holding a lav mic seems silly. That's just me though. Which tags on the TX are you talking about? Would be good to know which part of the TX is delicate. That's definitely not a good thing...

@@pdv Yes, holding the mic looks naf!!! It's the tiny tags just inside the mic ring on the Tx. They're really small. I've tried recreating the one that broke but it's so small that even 2 part epoxy glue isn't strong enough to withstand gentle use. I'm having to buy another windmuff to fit over the whole of the top of the Tx. Another thing I found, putting my iPhone with the Rx attached in my pocket, bent the lightning dongle so I've had to replace it. The new dongle works fine but I'll always detach it when not using it. On audio quality again, I found putting the mic on the inside of my Tshirt using the magnet with the windmuff on gave better audio than when sited on the outside of the Tshirt.

That’s a good question. A lot of the time it’s learning them separately, then trial and error with combining ideas together. UA-cam has a lot of tutorials so you can look up each piece separately. Also, I never go in 100% knowing every step. I build on what I already have laid out. So for this it was first adding a particle system to the rail geometry, then replacing it with plants. Then I had to figure out the weight painting by proximity to make the plants grow. Then I thought I was done, but then realized the effect looked terribly fake without plant movement so I went back and learned how to do that and rebuilt the whole thing from scratch with new plants because the first plants I used didn’t have visible stems at the bottom which made it also look fake. So it’s really about building on what you just did and trying different ideas and assets.

UA-cam actually pushes your videos out more if you use trending songs supposedly so... yeah... I hear ya, but I guess that's part of getting it out there. 😞
